We’re resilient and strong, and work hard to make sure we’ll be right.As Finance Business Partner – Product & Service, you will provide effective partnering, planning, analysis and advice on all financial aspects for the Customer Product & Service division ensuring sound financial management. With a commercial leadership focus this role will ensure the appropriate structures, initiatives and processes are in place to meet targets and drive continuous improvement.You’ll be accountable for:Managing the business unit budget, plan and forecastSupporting the development of business cases and providing critical input and commercial analysis for strategic decision makingPerformance reporting, linking financial and non-financial key performance indicators and communicating results to key stakeholders to inform strategic prioritiesIdentifying key performance gaps through analysis against business drivers (customer, operations, financial)Identifying and developing initiatives to enhance process efficiency, performance and value of reporting mechanismsManaging and collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure needs are understood and incorporated into planningDirect report managementYou’ll have:5+ years of relevant experienceTertiary qualifications in Commerce, Finance, Business or other relevant disciplineExtensive financial knowledge and experience (typically gained through CPA/CA/equivalent)Resource management experience in a project contextAbility to positively influence stakeholders to overcome roadblocks to deliver successful outcomes.Superior communication and influencing skillsIntellectual capability to quickly understand, apply, and embed new concepts in a complex business environmentStrong sense of urgency, focus on outcomes and drive for successAbility to work in cross functional teams and to lead to successful business outcomesStrong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise conflicting objective sin order to deliver key milestonesDemonstrated analytical, financial and/or problem solving skillsEmotional intelligence and maturityOwn and develop relationships in the businessInfluence senior leadership decisionsDevelop networks outside the Finance Community and outside own Business UnitWhy Qantas?If you’re successful in your application, you’ll join a team where creativity and passion are encouraged.
