We are seeking a Finance Business Partner – Smiggle to join our growing Finance team. Supporting the Finance Manager – Smiggle, this role will deliver reporting and strong financial analysis and advice to the Smiggle brand within the Just Group.
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Review Brand P&L against projection and budget and correlate back to the brand’s activities for the month
- Prepare summaries of brand results for distribution to management
- Prepare and/or review monthly management reports for key cost centres
- Review cost centre reports to ensure accuracy of and integrity of journals/accounting treatment of transactions
- Advise cost centre owners in regards to cost management opportunities and other financial/commercial matters
- Review overall brand P&L budgets to ensure accurate and consistent with plans/brand strategies
- Assist with preparation of budgets/projections
- Prepare and review seasonal and annual projections to ensure accuracy and integrity
- Review and improve efficiency of current weekly KPI reporting and month end reporting processes
About You
To be considered for this role you will have:
- Tertiary educated and CA/CPA qualified (or studying towards qualification)
- 3+ years’ work experience, Retail experience an advantage but not essential
- Analytically focused with the ability to methodically work through commercial business challenges and opportunities
- Ability to interpret and communicate complex financial information to a broad range of financial and non-financial stakeholders
- Strong Excel skills, with TM1 experience an advantage
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working collaboratively within a team
