What you'll do:
The Finance Business Partner for IT, Digital & Digital Health exhibits an entrepreneurial mindset and a curious nature, actively contributing to the identification and pursuit of business opportunities within a rapidly expanding business unit. This role involves offering commercial and strategic advice to leadership teams, as well as playing a key role in the development and evaluation of business cases for new Digital Health ventures, IT, and Data projects. Collaborating closely with the Commercial Manager - IT & Digital and the Commercial Manager - Digital Health, this position oversees and manages the comprehensive financial and commercial management processes. The incumbent is integral to cultivating a culture of accountability and continuous improvement, particularly in building commercial acumen within the business. Furthermore, the role is dedicated to delivering timely, accurate, and actionable insights that significantly enhance decision-making processes.

• Leverage data in a timely manner to report and Influence Business Partner decision making with fact-based insights to enhance decision-making processes.
• Collaborate with the leadership team to build robust budgets and forecasts. Carry out effective weekly and monthly review of results.
• Own the monthly forecast and month-end process and communicate fact-base insight and commentary for BAU performance to key stakeholders including Commercial Finance Manager, Head Of Finance and business unit General Managers.
• Support the delivery of any business initiatives and projects including managing the finance resource
• Identify and define system improvements to enhance the delivery of team and Wesfarmers Health objective

What you'll bring:

• Minimum 5 years of Business Partnering experience, with expertise in FMCG, Retail, or Pharmaceutical sectors
• Strong commercial focus, capable of distilling complex data into actionable reports for senior management
• Proven ability to navigate and handle complexity in a lean and dynamic environment.
• Demonstrated success in developing effective partnerships between support and business functions
• Extensive background in management accounting, performance management, reporting, business planning, and budgeting
• Critical and objective thinker with robust cross-functional problem-solving skills
• Advanced Excel proficiency and extensive experience in financial modeling with large datasets; Familiarity with ERP systems and BI tools (SAP, BPC, MicroStrategy, PowerBI)
• Tertiary qualifications in Accounting or Finance related discipline, with CPA/CA qualification
