ABOUT THE ROLE:
This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious professional with demonstrated experience in finance or accounting. Reporting to the Coordinator Finance, the Finance Business Partner is responsible for providing financial advice across the organisation, and maintaining the integrity of Council’s financial reporting, information, and systems.
The key responsibilities of this position include:
- Partnering directly with business areas to provide quality financial advice and support;
- Sharing responsibility for all aspects of accounting to ensure the efficient and effective management of Council’s financial, accounting and reporting activities;
- Provide strategic financial management including developing Councils annual budget, long term financial plan and forecasts.
- Participate in the continued implementation of core financial system upgrades and process enhancements.
