Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Intern to join our team. This internship will provide valuable hands-on experience in various aspects of accounting within a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn, possess strong analytical skills, and have a passion for accounting.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with accounts payable and receivable tasks, including invoice processing, payment processing, and reconciliation.
Support month-end and year-end closing procedures.
Prepare and analyse financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
Conduct research and analysis on accounting regulations and best practices.
Collaborate with team members on special projects as needed.
Requirements:
- Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (or related field).
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP).
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
