Reporting in to the CFO and leading a team of 5 people, your main responsibilities will include:
- Oversee the preparation and maintenance of divisional and head office accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Develop and implement cash flow forecasting models to optimise liquidity management on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
- Prepare and analyse financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Lead budgeting and forecasting processes, working closely with department heads to develop financial plans and targets.
- Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making and business growth initiatives.
- Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including auditors, tax advisors, and financial institutions.
- Provide payroll support, including payroll tax, superannuation, and Workcover administration.
- Supervise expense management processes, credit card reconciliation, and intercompany accounting activities.
- Coordinate insurance-related matters, including renewals, claims processing, and coverage assessments.
- Manage tax payments, BAS, FBT returns, and ABS statistics to ensure timely compliance with regulatory requirements.
The successful candidate will have extensive experience in financial management roles, with strong leadership skills and attention to detail. They will possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, along with CPA or CA certification. Additionally, they will demonstrate proficiency in accounting software and excellent communication skills.
