An exceptional opportunity exists for a technically accomplished FM (or senior accountant) to join this high-profile infrastructure business. They are looking to consolidate on their position to prepare for the next stage of their growth strategy, having recently received a signficant cash injection. This role is CBD based with WFH on offer.Reporting into the FC and managing a small team of big 4 trained accountants and senior accountants, you will be tasked with providing accounting technical support and deliver key financial reports (e.g., quarterly financial statements, monthly management reports, capex actuals to budget reports) for the business as well as ensure end of month processes are completed on time.Responsibilities include;
- Ensure accounting standards and policies are adhered to
- Preparation of technical accounting papers on technical accounting areas including (share-based payments, earnings per share, debt facilities and capital raises)
- Managing GL including the review of various monthly balance sheet, banking, and inter-company reconciliations
- Reviewing financial accountant’s month-end tasks
- Preparation and implementation of finance policies, procedures and new ERP across the Group
- Assist with investor reporting
- Assist with the development of internal control in compliance with SOX
- Liaising with auditors to address queries
- Assisting with actuals and reporting of capex projects
- Proactively identify new initiatives that could maximise revenue, improve efficiencies and reduce cost
About youThe successful candidate will be a technically accomplished CA/CPA with exceptional knowledge of IFRS, accounting interpretation and the ability to write technical memos. Audit experience is essential for this role (you may be a first mover at the manager or senior manager level). Otherwise, you will be either be an experienced senior accountant looking to make their step up, or a
