Otraco (a subsidiary of BMSA) is a world leading provider of Earthmover and Off-road tyre management services to the mining industry.
We are currently seeking an effective Finance Manager to work across both businesses out of our new state of the art BMSAHead Office in Sydney Olympic Park NSW.
Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will guide three direct reports across a team of approximately seven. Your teams will cover Financial Accounting, Accounts Payable and Credit Control.

The Opportunity
- Permanent full-time role
- Lead your teams to deliver excellence in Financial Accounting, Accounts Payable and Credit Control.
- Achieve and maintain the highest Corporate Governance standards as it relates to BMSA & Otraco’s Statutory obligations (Financial Reports, BAS, GST, FBT, Income Tax reporting, Audits, Group Consolidation)
- Coordinate and supervise the bi-annual stocktake and fixed asset audit
- Supervise, review and approve monthly and year-end reconciliations and schedules including General Ledger balance sheet reconciliations
- Provide a true and accurate financial position for inclusion in the monthly management reports
About You - Essential
- Relevant accounting qualifications, CPA or CA level
- High level expertise with accounting software
- Proven ability to develop a team with a strong customer service culture
- Experience in maintaining the highest standards in Corporate Governance and Industry Standard Protocols
- Demonstrated history managing all corporate and consolidated reporting requirements in a timely and efficient manner
- An effective collaborator/influencer across all levels of the business
- Team management experience and proven results in staff empowerment
- Acceptance of infrequent interstate travel
- Current work rights in Australia
