Immediate Start Role - Multinational Industry-Leading Organisation - 8 Month Contract Initially - Manage Offshore Team - CA/CPA - Process Improvement

About the role
An exciting immediate start role with a multinational industry-leading organisation currently exists in order to fill a key role in their finance team. Taking a hands-on approach, this Finance Manager role will help assist in the management and communication of the companies’ financial & corporate accounting activities. Initially this will be a 8 month contractual assignment, however there is the genuine opportunity for this role to be extended and/or made permanent.
The responsibilities
Reporting into the Head of Accounting, your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to);

• Review of month-end journals and reconciliations
• Preparation of various analysis to validate accuracy of monthly results
• Prepare reporting on capital expenditure spend
• Forecast depreciation and amortisation
• Maintaining compliance and effective engagement with internal and external auditors
• Preparation and review and of quarterly reporting templates and analysis
• Coach and support the off-shore team to maintain a high level of delivery
• Ad-hoc projects as and when required
• Drive continuous improvement in systems, reporting, process and efficiency

The successful applicant will have
Ideally, you will be a CA/CPA qualified accounting professional and will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills as your ability to interact and engage cross-functionally within the business will be crucial to your success. Additionally, you will have a strong attention to detail, enjoy being hands-on with the work and have worked in a large, complex organisation previously.
