Main Duties:
The role provides day-to-day support to the Finance Director in all financial matters with a focus towards Financial Planning, Financial Accounting and Controllership. The Finance Manager has responsibility for all daily financial processes, controls and transactions. The Finance Manager plays a key role in reviewing and improving financial policies, procedures and controls as well as creation of annual stats and being the primary point of contact for the audit. The role has management responsibility for 3 full time staff.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Day-to-day support to the Finance Director in all financial matters
- Responsible for the end-to-end month end process
- Ownership for all day-to-day financial transactions/processes and maintaining accurate trial balances for each legal entity. Responsibilities include Cash management & Credit Control, fixed asset management, Intercompany and financial accounting
- Responsible for working capital management of APAC entities including cashflow forecasting
- Support Finance Director with annual Budget, quarterly forecast & fortnightly flash
- Lead point of contact for the annual audit & corporation tax computation, providing support schedules for responsible entities and ensuring any filing deadlines are met
- Responsible for delivering all corporate reporting, accurately, and on a timely basis
- Responsible for maintaining & improving financial controls, processes, and policies
- Liaise with Global financial teams on financial matters
- Local business partner to the management team
- Team Management for three Assistant Accountant staff
What you bring:
- Minimum 3+ years PQE
- CA qualification or equivalent overseas qualification
- Line Management Experience
- Commercial finance experience
- Media Industry, SAP and change management experience Is preferred but not essential
- Outstanding Excel modelling and data presentation skills
- Detail oriented with excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organisation
- Ability to organise, motivate and develop people
