About the Role - POSITION SUMMARY
- • Ensure the daily tasks of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Night Audit, Income Audit and Cash Reconciliation functions are being carried out timely, accurately and to required standards.
- Identify and resolve daily finance related issues/problems in conjunction with respective members of staff.
- Review daily general cashier reports and monthly posting summary for accuracy and import into general ledger.
- Obtain daily rebates and review for adequacy of explanation and evidence of appropriate approval in accordance with Marriott International's Policies and Procedures.
- Assist in monitoring the Hotel's compliance to Corporate and internal Policies & Procedures and to implement new Policies & Procedures when necessary.
- Coordinate and manage hotel archiving system.
- Attend Meetings as required.
- Demonstrate clear behaviours and management style that align to the Property Service Culture Standards and Brand Core values.
- Effectively implement and support all Marriott International's related programs.
- Thorough understanding and compliance with property Hotel Award.
- Ensure 100% compliance with all local Legislation.
- Maintain company confidentiality, ensuring that business dealings within the organization are not discussed with outside parties ; protect company assets.
