They are currently seeking a talented and detail-orientated Finance Officer to join their Finance Team and contribute to their continued success.
The Role
This position is responsible for the administration of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable function throughout the wider business. Key responsibilities include:
- Process invoices, expense reports, and payment requests in a timely and accurate manner
- Match invoices with purchase orders and receipts, verifying the accuracy of transactions
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies of issues related to invoices, payments, and vendor accounts
- Prepare and perform weekly, fortnightly, and monthly payment runs while adhering to company policies and payment terms
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any outstanding balances or discrepancies
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities, providing necessary documentation and reports
To be successful in this position, you will have:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
- Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, processes, and best practices.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Problem-solving skills to resolve discrepancies and address issues proactively.
