About the Role

The role of Finance & Tax Accountant is a key Finance role that works with other members of the business to provide an efficient and effective service to the business and in turn, our customers.  Key responsibilities include financial accounting, fixed assets, treasury, indirect rebates and liaising with SEC (Parent company). 

Ensure that tasks undertaken comply with the objectives and regulations of Seiko Epson Corporation (SEC).

The roles focus will be on:

• Overseas inventory purchases
• Fixed assets and capital
• Bank and Treasury
• General Accounting
• Budgets and Forecast
• Statutory Accounts
• Tax Compliance

Qualifications and Experience

• Tertiary education in accounting
• Membership or studying towards CPA/ANZCA membership
• At least 5 years’ experience in an accounting role
• At least 2 years’ experience with a large ERP system
• Advantageous knowledge of import / distribution business
• Advanced Excel skills
• 2 years’ experience with supervising and mentoring staff
