Financial Accountant

Following a recent investment this healthcare business is looking for a Financial Accountant for their Sydney office. The company is about to undertake a strong growth project in a niche market with huge scope for growth. 

Working Model – Flexible Hybrid 
Location - North Sydney 
Salary Range – $90,000 - $110,000 + Super
Private Equity Backed Firm 
 
Role Responsibilities

• Preparation of monthly Profit & Loss reports and Balance Sheets, as well as Balance Sheet reconciliations
• Monthly intercompany interest calculations
• Provide assistance with the budget preparation
• Preparation of year- end accounts in accordance with accounting standards
• Supervise Accounts Payable duties, review payroll tax workings, wages accrual journals
• Review BAS/IAS working before submitting to the ATO
• Responsible for end to end accounts receivables
• Processing fortnightly payroll and reposting to employee queries

Requirements

• CPA/CA qualified
• 2-3 years proven experience
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and Word skills
• Exceptional knowledge Accounting standards, principles, procedures, and standards
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with an ability to manage large volumes of data and analysis simultaneously
• Ability to work autonomously and demonstrate initiatives
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel; experience with ERP systems is a plus.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a team.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
