Financial Accountant

As a Financial Accountant at Johnsons MME in Business Performance, you will be an integral part of a dynamic team led by the Manager of Finance Strategy and Performance. In this role, you will contribute directly to the delivery of strategic financial insights and services to a diverse range of clients. Your expertise and dedication will help our clients make well-informed decisions that drive their business growth and success.

WHAT YOUR ROLE WILL INVOLVE

• Monthly and quarterly financial analysis and reporting to organisations’ executive team
• Forecasting, budgeting, cashflow analysis and performance monitoring
• Risk assessment
• Mentoring organisations’ internal finance team members
• Strategic business planning support
• Build strong and long-lasting relationships with clients
• Involvement in day-to-day finance tasks such as payroll, accounts payable & receivable.
• Mentor junior staff

SKILL &EXPERIENCE

• Preferred Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
• Preferred CA/CPA qualified (or working towards)
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial analysis.
• Knowledge of accounting principles, financial statements, and reporting standards.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS products.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Enthusiasm for learning and adapting to new challenges.
