We are seeking an experienced Financial Accounts Manager to oversee the financial operations of our company. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an award-winning event management team with over 30 years of experience in the industry. This is a permanent part-time role offering flexible hours and based in the southern suburbs of Sydney. The applicant must have a solid understanding of accounting principles and practices and be proficient with MYOB Accounting Software.
This Financial Accounts role offers a broad range of tasks including, but not limited to:-
- Manage accounts payable and receivable
- Respond to internal and external finance queries
- Review supplier invoices and make timely payments
- Reconciliation of bank and credit card accounts
- Support the management and oversight of event budgets and produce detailed reports
- Assist in budgeting and financial forecasting activities
- Liaise with external accountants in relation to taxation and cash flow management
- Processing of weekly and fortnightly payroll
- Manage quarterly superannuation contributions and payments.
Your Background:
The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a Financial Accounts role, as well as a strong understanding of basic accounting principles. You will also have:-
- Proficiency in using MYOB Accounting and Payroll Software
- Exceptional organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication skills
- An eye for detail and accuracy
- Someone with a calm, friendly disposition who is happy to help out wherever the team needs
- CPA qualifications are advantageous but not essential.
