We have partnered with Driveline Services Australia, a market-leading business with locations nationwide, to find a suitably experienced Financial Administrator. Based in the company’s head office in Acacia Ridge, this position offers wonderful autonomy and responsibility.

Driveline Services Australia is an Australian family-owned company specialising in manufacturing, distributing and repairing a wide range of mining, industrial, agricultural, 4WD and performance drivetrains. With over 100 people and 40 years of industry experience, they are a growing company operating 13 branches stretching along the eastern seaboard of Australia from Townsville to Tasmania and across to Perth.
Role Overview:
The Financial Administrator will primarily be responsible for:
- Completing accurate daily and monthly reporting within a strict timeframe, including daily sales and cash reports, purchasing reports, freight recovery report, GP analysis reports and other adhoc reports.
- Balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy of data
- Bank reconciliations between bank statements and MomentumPro processing
- Review costings to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Maintain the company’s asset register in line with accounting standards
- Manage the overseas supplier cashflow, payments and shipment receipting.
- Process bank transfer payments as required.
- Assist the Financial Controller with year-end processes and reporting with external accountants
- Process monthly BAS records
- Assist the Financial Controller with yearly budget preparation
- Develop and maintain various business KPIs for branches and departments.
- Oversee the accounts receivable work to ensure that all processes and procedures are followed and the Debtors accounts are accurate.
Candidate requirements:
The ideal candidate will have:
- Accounting-related degree or equivalent experience
- 5 years of demonstrated experience in a role with similar accounting processes
- Well-developed knowledge and experience of general accounting, taxation and financial administration principles, policies and procedures
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with accounting software, including report development, data extraction, and understanding the needs of report users
- An inbuilt ability to be exceptionally organised and timeline-driven, managing multiple tasks with a high degree of accuracy
- Excellent numerical/financial acumen and attention to detail
- Knowledge of the Momentum Pro computer system would be an advantage.
- Part-time arrangements (25+ hours) can be offered to the right applicant
- The nature of this role does not allow WFH opportunities
