Make a difference. What is the role?
As a Financial Analyst within our finance team, you will play a crucial role in analysing financial data, sales analysis, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights to drive strategic decision-making. You will collaborate with various stakeholders to understand business requirements, develop financial models, and contribute to the development and implementation of financial strategies. You will also ensure the financial and operational activities of the company are correctly recorded, controlled and monitored and that management have the information necessary to make informed business decisions.
Key responsibilities
- Analyse financial data and trends to support decision-making processes. Including sales analysis in a Saas industry.
- Develop financial models, forecasts, and reports to assess business performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements and translate them into financial analyses and recommendations.
- Conduct variance analysis to identify key drivers of financial performance and recommend corrective actions.
- Focus on all things revenue.
- Prepare presentations and reports for senior management, providing insights into financial performance and strategic initiatives.
- Support financial planning and budgeting processes, including gathering inputs, preparing financial models, and analyzing variances.
- Assist in the evaluation of investment opportunities and strategic initiatives, including ROI analysis and financial due diligence.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in finance and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Participate in ad-hoc financial projects and initiatives as required.
- Assist with half year and year end audits
- Assist with annual budgeting process and any other FP&A duties as required
- Support Group Financial Control on ad hoc projects as required
- Design, develop and maintain ongoing KPI metrics, reports, dashboards to drive key business decisions

Experience
- Strong PowerBI skills and/or other Business Intelligence tools
- Commercial acumen
- 5 – 6 years Business Analyst or Financial Analyst experience, preferably in a finance or consulting role
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. MBA or CFA certification is a plus.
