We are looking for a Financial Control Manager to join our friendly team in Canberra on a Full Time 12 month contract
The Financial Control Manager will be responsible for the financial control of all legal entities within the Pacific region, ensuring the execution of all legal and statutory financial accounting, audits, taxation and all related regulatory compliance. This includes:
- Ensure correct application and recognition of accounting standards
- Review and sign off on all the balance sheet reconciliations on a monthly basis
- Ownership of tax and related submissions, including BAS, FBT, WHT
- Lead the year-end external audit process including maintaining the auditor relationships
- Overall responsibility over General Ledger for all legal entities
Minimum 5 years of post-qualification finance work experience
Audit background preferred
Experience with multi-national companies and team leadership preferred
A relevant tertiary degree qualification
ERP systems experience
Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA or any other international accounting equivalent)
