THE ROLE

Based at our HQ in Tingalpa, we are looking for a Finance Manager / Analyst

As a Finance Manager / Analyst, you will be responsible for overseeing the online and retail financial activities of the company. You will work closely with the executive team, our current Head of Finance FMCG and external Accountant to develop financial strategies, manage budgets and ensure compliance with financial regulations. You will be based out of our new state of the art office in Tingalpa and have the opportunity to work with a dynamic team.

TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage financial planning, budgeting and forecasting processes
• Monitor and analyse financial performance and prepare financial reports
• Developing strategies for promotions and proving financial analysis for these calculations 
• Manage cash flow and oversee accounts payable and receivable
• Managing foreign currency
• Ad hoc financial reporting as required by directors
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and laws
• Conduct risk management and financial analysis
• Collaborate with other departments to drive financial efficiency and profitability

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• Previous experience as a Finance Manager or a similar role
• Ecommerce experience is preferred but not essential
• In-depth knowledge of financial regulations and laws
• Understanding and knowledge of Australian taxation laws
• Understanding and knowledge of currency markets and foreign exchange rates
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Proficiency and advanced ability in XERO, Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets
• Experience with Shopify (or similar) data and exporting reports
