The Chatswood branch is seeking an enthusiastic individual to assist our financial planners as they prepare and provide advice to their clients. The successful candidate will have knowledge and experience in the financial advice sector, take pride in the quality and accuracy of their work, and enjoy a supportive, friendly work environment. Flexibility may become available once the person has a full grasp of their work requirements, conditional upon productivity being maintained and meeting fellow team member needs. This may also suit someone seeking shorter working days rather than full time employment.
Qualifications & experience
- Knowledge of the financial service sector and experience with Financial Planning processes.
- Attention to accuracy, detail and time frames whilst being solution oriented.
- Technology literacy (Microsoft Office, Xplan, a CRM).
- Superior communications and multi-tasking skills, including working with minimal supervision.
- Ability to establish strong relationships with clients, internal & external service providers.
- Commitment to working in a team of equals.
Tasks & responsibilities
- Assist the advisers with research to develop financial advice strategies including wealth management, superannuation, portfolio construction, retirement & estate planning and Centrelink.
- Support the advisers in all communications with their clients, external service providers, and Morgans support services.
- Implement advice recommendations, database updates, documentation delivery (e.g. SoA, RoA, FDS) and other adviser/client service requirements.
- Liaise with other Chatswood staff and Morgans offices where required.
- Maintain data in Xplan and other platforms as appropriate.
