We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Planning and Reporting Analyst to join our dynamic team based in South Brisbane.
This role will serve as the primary point of contact for all FPA, reporting, and visualization matters, ensuring clear and effective communication across the Group.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating with stakeholders to maintain data integrity across all platforms
- Developing insightful content for monthly reporting and board meetings
- Managing the budgeting and forecasting cycle
- Analysing historical results against budgets and forecasts
- Presenting business analysis results and actionable steps to key stakeholders
- Participating in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) as required for various projects
- Utilising your expertise in relational databases, data modelling, and data warehousing
- Applying SQL programming skills to manipulate and extract data as necessary
- Interpreting Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet statements to provide strategic insights
- Supporting the development of presentations, documents, and other creative endeavours
We are looking for someone who has a well-developed communication style that can accommodate the various personalities that you may encounter throughout your career with Servco Australia. To be successful in this role you will need the ability to build trusting relationships with key stakeholders. You will need to have strong attention to detail, excellent analytical skills, Finance & Systems knowledge and solid analytical/problem solving skills.
To succeed in this role, you will have:- Tertiary qualification in Finance, Commerce, or similar field. CA/CPA qualifications would be advantageous but not essential.
- Demonstrated experience in an FPA role
- Proficiency in Microsoft BI tools, particularly Power BI and Power Pivot.
- Proficient in SQL; programming skills in Python are advantageous.
- Familiarity with ERP platforms such as OracleePBCS or MYOB Advanced is beneficial but not essential.
