Role: Financial Planning & Reporting Analyst
Location: Brisbane
Employment Type: Full time Permanent

Goodstart Early Learning is currently seeking an experienced Financial Planning and Reporting Analyst to join our team. This is a vital role, reporting to the Head of Financial Planning & Analysis, responsible for conducting management reporting and analysis, budget and forecast preparation to drive operational excellence and efficiency across the organisation.
Your Impact:

  • Assisting in delivery of the annual budget and strategic planning processes
  • Utilise advanced financial modelling techniques to provide financial forecasts and data analysis.
  • Production and enhancement of performance reporting
  • Engage with key stakeholders to provide strategic operational financial advice.
  • Identifying and recommending opportunities to improve business performance
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders on budget preparation and ongoing analysis of performance.
  • Utilising BI tools to develop and deliver meaningful insights into business performance
  • Prepare and present financial reports to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Participate and contribute to commercial decision-making utilising advanced analysis techniques.
  • Providing recommendations and interpretations to Senior Management on financial data.

What you'll bring to the table:
  • Bachelor degree in Finance or Accounting
  • Substantial experience in financial management, planning and analysis;
  • Experience in Financial Planning and analysis, preferably with exposure to financial systems and tools such as SAP BPC, TM1 or others.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles, budgeting processes, and financial modelling techniques.
  • Proficiency in data modelling, transformation and visualisation, with experience in Power BI desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability to adopt an innovative approach to business challenges with a resilient style.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, change management
