We currently have entry-level traineeships available at our Branch in Canberra. Our traineeships are full time for 12 months and provide a great opportunity for individuals who have limited work experience and have not undertaken study since finishing school.
Bank Australia offers a high quality traineeship program in a supportive environment. Trainees will experience working in a professional and successful banking organisation dedicated to responsible banking while undertaking a Certificate III in Financial Services.

- Develop and refine your customer service skills (interpersonal, verbal and written)
- Improve your administration, time management and problem solving skills
- Gain a good working knowledge and understanding of banking practices, policies and processes
- Build a solid foundational understanding of the banking sector
- Learn new systems and banking processes
- Be part of and experience a professional work environment
- Complete the Financial Services Reform Act (FSRA Tier 2) certification, enabling you to establish client relationships and analyse needs, negotiate client solutions, general and personal advice on general insurance
- Complete the Certificate III in Financial Services.
- Demonstrated dedication to outstanding customer service focus and delivery
- Adaptability and ability to prioritise work to meet deadlines
- Good communication skills
- A strong work ethic and professional presentation
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Flexibility and good attention to detail
- Some administration skills and experience highly desirable
- Positive and flexible attitude and desire to develop, learn and expand skills
- Good level of PC literacy
