We are an Australian company specialized in kosher meals who has been operatingsince 1970. All of our products are made from Australian ingredients. In 1998 wecommenced FINE DINING meals to top hotels and we are now servicing most of the tophotels in Sydney. Our company also caters for special events.We are looking to recruit a FINE DINING chef, who is experienced in FINE DINING.
Must be able to adapt our client’s menu to kosher. The ideal candidate must be HACCP certified and be very familiar with theprocedures that must be followed. The ideal candidate should have:
- ability to work as part of a team and coordinate tasks with others
- strong communication skills
- attention to detail
- good organisational and planning skills
- ability to work efficiently while under time pressure
- creativity and an imaginative approach to food presentation
- Study our clients menu and adapt to kosher● Coordinate our team of cooks, sous chefs and kitchen staff● Create new dishes● Control and maintain the necessary ingredients● Train new staff● Ensure that dishes meet high standards at all stages● Cook and serve food, while coordinating kitchen staffRequirements:
- Certificate III, IV in Commercial Cookery and Diploma in Hospitality● Minimum 2 years of experience● Good Communication skills
Lewis Continental Kitchen is a family catering business, established since 1970. It is specialized in kosher catering, servicing top hotels in New South Wales, as well as main events.
