We're offering an exciting position for a Finishes Foreman to join our client's team in West Brisbane. In this role, you'll be instrumental in guaranteeing the quality and timely completion of finishing works on our projects. If you possess a sharp eye for detail, robust leadership abilities, and a dedication to delivering top-notch finishes, we'd love to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate finishing works on-site, including carpentry, painting, tiling, and other finishing trades.
- Ensure adherence to project plans, timelines, and quality standards for all finishing activities.
- Manage and motivate a team of finishing trades workers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Conduct regular inspections to maintain quality control and identify any defects or issues.
- Collaborate with project managers, designers, and other stakeholders to achieve desired finishes and project goals.
- Monitor budgetary requirements and resource allocation for finishing work.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience as a Finishes Foreman or similar role in the construction industry.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
- In-depth knowledge of finishing trades and techniques, including carpentry, painting, tiling, etc.
- Familiarity with construction processes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
- Relevant trade qualification or certification in Construction or a related field.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
