The Role
With a focus on Installation and Commissioning, this role would support our growing Projects team while also assisting as required with the delivery of the Fire Alarm work requirements of the business, including Test, Inspection & Maintenance, Repair and Ad-hoc works.


Relevant technical, supervisory, operational, customer support and reporting roles, associated with the delivery of such works will form a large part of this role.

The Right Candidate

  • A proven track record of Installation, programming and commissioning of Fire Alarm / EWIS Systems in a construction and minor works project environment.
  • Sound Knowledge of Australian Standards such as AS1670.1 and AS1670.4 including section 5 and 7
  • Able to identify shortfalls in Design on projects.
  • Experience in programming the following systems;
  • MX4428
  • MX1
  • Ampac
  • Notifier
  • VESDA 
  • A good knowledge of Fire Alarm/EWIS system Inspection, Testing and Maintenance as well as an overview of the relevant Australian Standards as required, and a strong skillset in Fault finding, and repairs would be looked upon favourably.
  • Ability to work unsupervised in a team environment.
  • Reliable, self-motivated and well presented.
  • Clear verbal and written communication; including skills with word processing and spreadsheet applications
  • Effective communication skills
  • Willing to undergo a police check
  • Be fully vaccinated against Covid-19
  • Strong commitment to safe work practices is essential.
