About the Role
Due to continued growth of the business, we are seeking an experienced Fire Proofing Supervisor to join our team in Lytton, QLD to lead the Fire Proofing team in various projects across one site. The suitable candidate for this role will possess strong planning, organisation, management, and professional communication skills. This is a casual ongoing position that is suitable for a candidate who wants to be at home each night.
Duties will include but not limited to
Excellent working knowledge of workplace health and safety
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
Plan, monitor, and complete work packs.
Ensures work is carried out and inspected as per the specified requirements
Resolve day-to-day on-site coordination related issues with the site teams
Review performance to identify any inefficiencies or inconsistencies
Develop and maintain relationships with Stakeholders to ensure site requirements are met
Liaising with site Superintendents and Managers to report on milestones.
Requirements & Experience Needed
2+ years’ experience working at a supervision level within the Fire Proofing discipline
Chartek Certification to undertake Fire Proofing duties (within 2 years)
Excellent understanding of blasting and fireproofing processes
Working at Heights certificate (within 2 years)
Confined Space Entry certificate (within 2 years)
Construction Induction (White Card)
Full Australian work rights
Gas Test Atmosphere (desirable)
Breathing Apparatus (desirable)
Current Driver’s license
High-Risk Work license (advantageous)
