The role
In this role you will lead a team of engineers and technical staff to oversee the City of Greater Bendigo civil asset portfolio and maintain a prioritised 5-year capital works program for civil infrastructure across the municipality. You will also be responsible for providing expert technical and professional engineering advice in relation to civil projects, driven both by the City of Greater Bendigo and those driven by the development community.
About You
To be successful in this varied position, you will have experience in leading and managing a results-driven team of professional Engineers and technical staff. Experience in the Local Government sector will be highly regarded. You will understand asset management practices and have excellent communication skills.
You will have qualifications in Civil Engineering along with experience permitting membership with Engineers Australia and be eligible for inclusion on the National Engineers Register.
You will possess a high level of managerial experience and a proven track record as an effective leader.
A satisfactory police records check is required for this position.
