Fire Protection Service Manager

An excellent opportunity exists for an experienced and diligent Fire Protection Service Manager to join the ranks of a well-established, independently owned and operated Fire Protection business located at the northern end of the Gold Coast. 

The Business is primarily focused on delivering turnkey D&C projects within the industrial, residential, retail and commercial sectors with the majority of completed projects being retained within the business service base portfolio.

The successful candidate for this position requires previous experience as a Service Manager within the Fire Protection Industry and technical working knowledge of both water based and dry fire based Fire Protection systems, however exceptional Service Department Co-Ordinator's would also be considered for career development and growth within the business.

Key role responsibilities:

• Quoting of I&T and minor repair works across wet, dry and passive fire systems
• Field technician and subcontractor management, including scheduling of routine service activities
• Management of on-call after hours rosters for technicians
• Monitoring business performance indicators, enforcing and maintaining all safety processes and compliance documentation to a industry leading standard
• Providing a strong focus on quality and client satisfaction
• Delivering solution focused outcomes to customers
• Building relationships with customers
• Lead, manage and motivate an experienced service delivery team.
• Ambition to inorganically grow the service customer base

We are looking for candidates who can demonstrate:

• Strong technical knowledge of Fire Protection system compliance requirements
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills when dealing with people at all levels including customers, subcontractors and suppliers
• Proven ability to build relationships with customers, fellow work colleagues and management.
• Ability to evaluate and assess operations and respond to changing needs.
• Strong computer skills including knowledge in the use of Uptick service software or the ability to learn this platform.
• Holder of a current QBCC Fire Protection Nominee Supervisor or Occupational licence/s.
