With over 220 team members, the business delivers comprehensive maintenance programs and minor works projects to critical infrastructure clients including airports, defence, facilities managers, shopping centres, builders and developers as well as Federal and State Government departments.
About the Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Fire Account Manager to join our Asset Services team, based at our Hendra office. The role will include, but not be limited to:
- Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients in the fire industry.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, concerns, and requests.
- Understand clients' needs and objectives and provide tailored solutions to meet their requirements.
- Proactively address any issues or challenges faced by clients, ensuring prompt resolution and client satisfaction.
- Sales and Business Development:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the fire industry.
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve targets and drive revenue growth.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop customized proposals and presentations for prospective clients.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial outcomes.
- Compliance and Standards:
- Possess a comprehensive understanding of AS1851-2012 standards and regulations.
- Ensure that all client services comply with relevant industry standards and regulations.
- Stay updated on changes and updates to standards and communicate relevant information to internal teams and clients.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to verify compliance and identify areas for improvement.
About You
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the fire industry, with a focus on account management or sales.
- In-depth knowledge of AS1851-2012 standards and regulations.
- Proven track record of successfully managing client relationships and driving sales growth.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organisational and time management abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Proficiency in Firemate, Aroflo or similar platforms
