Fire & Rescue (Ert) Trainer

Pararescue Training is an upcoming leader in clinical education and rescue training. We are very passionate about attention to detail because we know it saves lives.  

Within the team at Pararescue, we understand there may only be one chance to save a life or minimise the negative outcomes of an emergency, so we pride ourselves on providing the critical training for mine workers, that allows their employers to focus on committing to have their workforce return home safely to their families at the end of every shift.

Due to continuing growth in our business we are looking to add further quality trainers & educators to our team. 

Pararescue Training is currently seeking a qualified and highly experienced Rescue Trainers who will be responsible for the delivery of Fire & Rescue training within the Queensland Coal Mining industry.

The role will report to the Director, and will be based on a fly-in-fly-out roster from your closest major airport. Local applicants are strongly considered.

All flights, accommodation, car hire and meals are covered while your on swing. 

The candidate must have a minimum of 5 years' experience previously working in the emergency response sector (preferably state or defence) and demonstrated experience delivering the below units, as you will be required to hit the ground running.

The candidate will require Fire & Rescue qualifications (State Fire Service – transcripts are acceptable) and the TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment is essential.

The candidate will ideally hold the following statements of attainments:

• PUAFIR207 Operate breathing apparatus open circuit
• PUAFIR306 Identify, detect, and monitor hazardous materials at an incident
• PUAFIR324 Render hazardous materials incidents safe
• PUASAR024 Undertake road crash rescue
• PUASAR025 Undertake confined space rescue
• PUASAR032 Undertake vertical rescue
• RIIERR201E Conduct fire team operations
• Standard 11 (QLD Coal Mine Induction)
• Coal Board Medical
