Access theAbout us:Building, Engineering and Maintenance Services has a main hub located in Rockhampton and other locations throughout the Banana, Central Highlands, and Gladstone Region. The BEMS team has professional, administrative, operational and trades staff; the trades provided by in‐house staff include electrical, fitting and turning, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and horticulture.About the role:Follow defined service quality standards, occupational health and safety policies and procedures relating to the work being undertaken in order to ensure high quality, safe services and workplaces (for all employees); and as required by the Manager BEMS assist in the preparation of service maintenance documentation, maintenance and service contracts review, and make recommendations for tenders received.About you:Mandatory qualification/s: NilNon-mandatory qualifications/requirements: While not mandatory it is desirable that the candidate holds the relevant Fire Safety Adviser (FAS) qualifications; or is willing to work towards obtaining the FSA qualification.

  • Demonstrated experience in Fire Safety including planning and documentation for strategic planning for replacement and conducting economic evaluations of various options available.
What we offer:Salary information:Total remuneration value of up to $10,603 p.m. is comprised of:
  • An hourly rate between $51.69 - $56.24 p.h.
  • 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
