We are seeking a Fire Equipment Service Technician who is ready to take on a new challenge and join our growing team. The successful Technician will enjoy the opportunity for success, career progression, and working in a dynamic and rewarding environment.
The Role
The Fire Equipment Service Technician will carry out:
Inspection, testing, and repairs to all areas of Portable and Fixed fire equipment and other Essential Safety Measures, such as Fire Extinguishers, Fire Hose Reels, Fire Hydrants, Doors, Egress, Emergency and Exit Lighting etc.
A primarily autonomous role, the successful Technician will enjoy excellent remuneration, including annual leave loading, superannuation, a fully maintained company vehicle, a mobile phone, uniform, and an invaluable opportunity for career advancement and training.
About You
The ideal candidate should possess the following skills, attributes, and qualifications:
- Proven history of servicing fire equipment
- Have thorough knowledge of Australian Standards and BCA requirements
- Be passionate about maintaining levels of compliance
- Ability to work both alone (unsupervised) and in a team
- Have a strong customer service focus
- FPASS certification or equivalent (preferred but not required, training provided)
- Prior use of Uptick (preferred but not required)
- Demonstrated proactive problem-solving skills.
