 FIRST AID OFFICER

• Casual positions available 

• $31.7882 per hour plus superannuation

Queensland Performing Arts Centre (QPAC) is one of Australia’s leading centres for live performance. QPAC invites you to join our motivated Visitor Services team in the casual role of First Aid Officer. We are seeking candidates with a genuine passion and dedication to working in the First Aid industry and who can commit to flexible working hours including days, nights and weekends.

To be successful in this role you must possess:

• Previous experience in a similar role in a large public venue or entertainment precinct with a high volume of patronage.

• Current Apply Advanced First Aid, Apply Advanced Resuscitation, and CPR statements of attainment from a nationally recognised RTO.

• Current Blue Card (Working with Children Check) or the ability to obtain; and

• Demonstrated level of coordination ability and capacity to exercise initiative in high-pressure situations.

To join our team, you must have exemplary communication skills, a demonstrated commitment to exceptional customer service, immaculate presentation and a high attention to detail. 

Successful candidates must be available for a minimum of three shifts per week with at least one (1) shift on a Saturday and one (1) shift on a Wednesday as well as two (2) Saturday evenings per month. Day time availability is highly desirable.
