  • Salary range $72,203 - $83,274 (based on experience) + 11% super
  • Up to $5,500 for relocation assistance
  • Part time (0.5FTE). Fixed term 1 year contract.

What’s the role?
  • Lead the planning and ordering of food for service delivery across Children’s Ground platforms
  • Support early years health promotion activities and support children and families around nutrition promotion within and outside early learning sessions. 
  • Ensure food safety standards are maintained in food storage, preparation, and provision.  This includes high standards of cleanliness and regular sanitisation of equipment and includes delivery of meals while on Country
  • Contribute to the development of resources including videos, books, papers, menus, nutrition education/training manuals etc. in collaboration with or guided by First Nations staff and community members
Is this the right role for you?
  • This position is for a First Nations person with a strong understanding of cultural and western health. 
  • Experience working within Health Promotion/Nutrition or community engagement
  • Experience working with First Nation people and communities with ability to work positively with people’s strengths and capacities, seeking opportunities for genuine inclusion
  • Knowledge of food safety standards.
  • Qualifications in Nutrition/Health Promotion or similar highly desireable
  • Strong people skills – teamwork, communication, and collaboration
  • Current driver's licence, OCHRE Card & National Police Clearance (or willingness to obtain) 
This role will require working regularly in outdoor conditions, sitting, standing, and moving around in outdoor settings, including getting in and out of motor vehicles and remote location work
 
NT PHN/RWA NT may be able to offer relocation support and clinical educational financial assistance to health professionals who are relocating to the NT or moving within the NT to a greater remoteness area classification for the purposes of employment and further clinical education.
