FIT College registered as an RTO in 2009 and started with its core area of expertise in Fitness qualifications and has since expanded into First Aid, Business, and Training & Assessment qualifications. FIT College delivers courses online and face-to-face to multiple campuses throughout Australia, as well as internationally.
About the RoleThe purpose of the FIT College Careers Liaison role is to build and maintain professional relationships with affiliated fitness businesses (gym, supplement stores, allied health) to ultimately provide a channel for leads/referrals for the sales team. These referrals are essentially a ‘bi-product’ of the strong relationship foundations created by the Liaison. This is done by liaising with new and current businesses within the industry, past/current students, and the general community. The Liaison acts as an integral front-line customer representative for FIT College whilst positively promoting the FIT College brand to the general public at every opportunity provided. Key responsibilities of the role:
- Demonstrate product knowledge to effectively communicate with a prospective learner about FIT College courses and answer any initial questions related to their enquiry and course requirements.
- Conduct Sales tours within designated campuses for potential students to gain insight into our FIT College face-to-face locations.
- In-person visitations to local fitness industry businesses to gain potential professional relationships.
- Coordinate and manage static stands at affiliate businesses to assist the general public with any queries.
- Liaising with the general public, stakeholders, and external companies to build connections and generate leads for the sales team.
- Organise and manage student placement requests and conduct industry presentations for students.
- Liaise with the Head of Design & Media with any potential for creating marketing materials or content to distribute through social media accounts.
- Organisation and sales of Short Course and First Aid deliveries.
As the successful applicant for the role, you will have:
- Great people and relationship-building skills.
- Previous experience in the Fitness Industry.
- Previous experience in a BDM or relationship-building role considered favorable (not mandatory)
- Self-motivated, hardworking, and a reliable team player with a can-do attitude.
- Experience with social media platforms, particularly Instagram, will be advantageous.
- An open Australian driver’s licence.
- Proficient computer skills, including use of emails and Microsoft Office Suite.
