Job Overview:
Interpack is excited to offer an apprenticeship opportunity for a Fitter and Turner to join our skilled team. This apprenticeship is an excellent opportunity for motivated individuals to gain hands-on experience, develop technical skills, and build a rewarding career in a supportive and innovative environment. You will work under the guidance of experienced professionals and receive comprehensive training in fitting, turning, and machining processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the assembly, fitting, and maintenance of machinery and equipment.
- Learn and apply turning techniques to produce precise components.
- Operate lathes, milling machines, and other workshop tools.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on tools and machinery.
- Adhere to safety standards and protocols at all times.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to process optimisation.
- Complete all assigned tasks within the specified timelines and quality standards.
- Attend and actively participate in training sessions and workshops.
