Your role will be resolving production faults using HMI interface to discover the fault in error codes and hands on diagnosis and repair of Sick, de Luz or Balluf optical sensors.
Our client is a market leader who designs & build productions line and distributes a high quality of food & chemicals process and packaging to the entire production line.
They are currently looking for a maintenance fitter technician with experience trouble shooting, mechanical skills and can troubleshoot sensor problems on the filling and seal machines.
You will required to work independently and a Cert III in Engineering Mechanical is a must.
Other duties will be to assist production with any issues on the standard operating procedures, work instructions, basic machinery problem solving and change parts. English language skills need to be at a high level.
Predominantly this is located in the WESTERN suburbs of Sydney (Horsley Park). Your role will also involve hands on mechanical work, root cause analyses and diagnostics of production line issues, mathematical aptitude and be able to read engineering drawings, PID and basic schematics drawings. Using the HMI to diagnose problems. Understand proximity sensor issues. troubleshoot and diagnose production line problems. Sensors are capacitive reactance, light curtain, vision systems, etc.
