Programmed is currently seeking casual Mechanical Fitters for work on ship to shore container cranes Port of Brisbane.
The site works a 24-hour, 7day operation. The successful applicants will be offered work and if available to help cover maintenance and operational support. Day, evenings and night shifts throughout the week and weekends.
Successful applicants will have previous heavy industrial experience, mine site or refinery experience, with a strong work ethic and demonstrated commitment to safety.
Skills and Experience- Australian Recognised Trade Certificate
- Current Nationally Accredited Working at Heights
- High risk qualifications are highly regarded (Forklift, Elevated work platform, Rigging)
- Ability to provide a clear National Police Clearance (Valid within 12-24 months)
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screen
- Previous mining and/or shutdown experience
- Excellent pay rates on offer
- 12 and 8 hour shifts
