Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Mechanic / Diesel Fitter to join our workshop team. You will be responsible for servicing and repairing vehicles and equipment, maintaining the on and off hire fleet, following WHS policies in the workshop, and ensuring high standards for our customers. This is a full-time position with overtime requirement.
Job responsibilities:
- Perform Servicing and repairing of vehicles and equipment.
- Conduct general maintenance of on and off hire fleet.
- Report to Workshop Supervisor.
- Follow WHS policies in the workshop to ensure safety compliance.
- Maintain high standards of quality for customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Trade qualification as a Mechanic, preferably heavy vehicle.
- Background in automotive industry, light and heavy equipment.
- A/C Ticket, Forklift training would be an advantage.
Strong commitment to following safety policies and procedures.
Excellent diagnostic skills with great attention to detail.
- Ability to work well within a team environment with a can-do attitude.
- Willingness to work overtime or extra shifts when necessary.
- A current driver’s licence.
