Fitter / Mechanic - Field Service Technicians

Our client is a leader in the design, supply, installation and maintenance of complete pipeline, pumping and irrigation systems in the mining and agriculture industries.

We are looking for a dynamic trades employees to help continue providing this outstanding service to industrial companies, and the community, helping the team continue to achieve its goals.

The main focus of the positions is to provide outstanding customer service with installation, service and repairs. Work will be undertaken on the NW coast of Tasmania and in the mines of the West Coast, where living away could possibly be done at times. Various roles are on offer.

• Relevant Trade Qualifications are desirable but not essential. Training in the role will be provided. Try something new!!!
• Demonstrated experience with irrigation systems will be a definite advantage

Key Responsibility Areas:

• Assist in installing irrigators and irrigation systems
• Laying pipe and poly welding
• Attend to repair and replacement of irrigation systems and pumps as required
• Assist in other assignments including domestic, commercial, civil, mining and industrial applications
• Rotating on call roster operates October through to March
• Adhere to all OHS Policies and systematic and tailored SOP's
• Participate in all induction sessions and training provided / required

If you dont have some of these dont stress, there will be training.

Basic Requirements:

• Work in a safe manner at all times
• Meet time parameters and expectations on all jobs
• Pass a D&A test
• Complete all other documentation required for the position in a timely manner
• Always present in a clean and tidy manner
