Fleet And Maintenance Manager - Tuncurry

We have an exciting opportunity for a trade qualified Fleet Service Manager, with experience in heavy road transport. The role will be positioned in our Tuncurry Head Office and reports to Chief Operating Officer - Logistics and Fleet.

Day to day the role will include:

• Ensuring the fleet is maintained to, and in compliance with, Fleet Management Systems, with an emphasis on safety;
• Co-ordinating sublet servicing & repairs to company vehicles;
• Controlling inventory, stocktakes & associated reporting;
• Processing service & parts sheets & daily purchase orders;
• All other duties in relation to workshop management.

To be successful in this position you will bring:

• Trade qualifications in relation to heavy road transport vehicles, with a minimum of 5 years' experience;
• Strong team leadership & time management skills;
• Experience in dealing with people face to face & over the phone;
• The ability to diagnose problems & breakdowns both in the workshop and over the phone;
• Excellent mechanical knowledge of trucks & trailers including Vacuum Tankers, B-Doubles, Side loader and Ivevo Acco would be an advantage;
• Strong knowledge of electrical & hydraulic systems;
• Experience working with computers & Microsoft suite;
• A HR licence, or be willing to obtain one.

Salary of $120,000 - $140,000 is on offer for the right person.  Additional to your salary will be a fully maintained company vehicle, and relocation allowance will be considered for the right candidate.
