Use your extensive mechanical skills and knowledge to define solutions to technical issues, minimise down time and improve maintenance efficiencies. All the required tools necessary to perform the job are supplied on site. The position works a fortnightly roster which may require you to work an evening shift, on these occasions penalty rates will apply. About the role: carry out scheduled service, maintenance and repairs or breakdown response service on a range of Council fleet, plant and outdoor power equipment identify and diagnose problems from electronic (12/24V systems), hydraulic and mechanical systems read equipment manuals and schematics both paper and digital based; and assist in keeping accurate service records across the entire range of Council operated fleet, plant and equipment use asset management software to comply with all service, repairs and maintenance…
