Address Your new role
We have an exciting casual opportunity to join our Fleet Management Team in a modern and well-equipped workshop. The purpose of this role is to maintain Council plant and equipment to a level that will allow for maximum use, while remaining in a safe and road worthy condition. This role reports to Council's Workshop Supervisor and is part of a team of 4 people. This is a temporary casual position for a period of 3-6 months to backfill a vacancy within our team based at our Operations Centre.
This is a Band 4 classified role, casual rate will be $43.84 an hour - $46.70 (depending on experience) plus superannuation in accordance with the Superannuation Guarantee.

The key selection criteria for this role are:
Qualified Motor Mechanic
An understanding of current technology as it applies to this industry
Ability to work safely and demonstrate safe work practices
Ability to work independently
Commitment to excellent customer service
