The Role
The Operational Support will be critical to our operational excellence and will be committed to improving customer satisfaction through diligent monitoring, reporting, and analysis of DIFOT performance. By playing a critical role in upholding our commitment to service and improving our operations, the role will proactively identify areas for optimisation and support process enhancements.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
Set appointments daily
Monitor and maintain the Power BI DIFOT report.
Attend weekly DIFOT meetings & other meetings related to delivery improvements requirements.
Ensure all reports such as the unloaded, arrived and non-delivered report is completed on a weekly basis.
Assist and maintain implementation of the TED devices to all Bulk Drivers
Support Bulk Debriefing process, including ancillary and pallet delivery and paperwork flow
Provide NW Regional Manager with Daily DIFOT updates and support driver training re TED's.
Establish effective liaison with personnel in other TGE Group branches with all TGE Transport divisions as required.
Ensure all that any key TGE reports as required are complete and accurate e.g. manifesting, load/unload.
Trip road freight movements
Be the lead with the CBS Shipping booking tool for each marine movement.
Review driver run sheets re compliance of records.
Review all documentation received to ensure all required information is included.
Support Customer needs with correct container requirements, daily calls
