About the Opportunity

To help us achieve this we are seeking an experienced Fleet Technical Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and operation of fleet services in the provision of plant and procurement, whilst providing technical support to the fleet services section to enable timely procurement and replacement of plant.
To succeed in this role, you will have:
- Knowledge of and relevant experience in fleet management or related field
- Ability to interpret data and accurately input data into software systems
- Experience in managing procurement processes and monitoring budgets
- Demonstrated computer skills in spreadsheet data analysis, preparing reports, word processing and Microsoft-Office products
- Demonstrated ability in stakeholder management, problem solving and conflict resolution
- Strong customer service skills, in person, in writing and orally
On a typical day this role will:
- Assist with monitoring and reporting for the condition of plant and fleet capacity whilst planning and developing programs for replacements of plant items.
- Prepare procurement plans and assist with tendering process including establishing and maintaining period supply and servicing contracts
- Assist with the disposal of plant items in accordance with policies and procedures
- Maintain and manage data input within Fleet Management Software and other relevant software applications
- Assist in rectifying reported defects identified in the plant pre-start inspection process
Remuneration and Benefits
Employment Type: Full time, Permanent 35 hours per week
Salary (exclusive of super): In the range of $82,147 to $92,446 depending on skills and experience
