The opportunity
We are looking for our next savvy Flights Consultant with a keen attention to detail to join our TripADeal team! You will be working in collaboration with our team of flight consultants to ensure end to end flight operations are managed, and providing a first-class customer experience to both our first time, and returning customers.
The successful incumbent will hold experience in ticketing, post ticketing resolution and will provide support to our internal teams to ensure all post ticketing queries are handled efficiently and accurately - and to give the best possible experience for our TripADeal customers and our internal customers!
This permanent full-time position is 100% onsite working from our Byron Bay HeadQuarters or Varsity Lakes Gold Coast office, working Monday to Friday, 8-4pm or 9-5pm, reporting to our Flight Operations Manager.
A day in the life
- To book and ticket international airline tickets on behalf of TripADeal for their all-inclusive package deals
- Understanding and support of the businesses systems and platforms used to manage the ticketing process
- Conduct searches to find the best available airfares available for our valued customers, using the company GDS and other necessary systems
- Perform the whole ticketing process requirements
- Communicate and liaise with relevant TripADeal stakeholders on bookings, deals and issues that arise
- Have a solutions-focussed mindset
- Follows through on initiatives that help to drive revenue for the business
- Supporting internal stakeholders in the post-booking management process
To be a front running candidate
- Tertiary qualifications in customer service, event management, tourism, business, administration or a related discipline, or equivalent demonstrated experience
- High level of experience using Sabre/Galileo and Google Sheets/Excel
- Sound working knowledge and expertise in international airlines, with the know-how to navigate complicated international airfares specifically post ticketing requirements.
- Strong time management and organisational skills
- Demonstrated ability to clearly communicate to a variety of stakeholders
- Ability to work towards multiple tight deadlines concurrently and to prioritise tasks with a sense of urgency
- Problem solving skills with the ability to multitask
- Work both autonomously & part of a team to achieve a common goal
- Experience in the travel industry (desirable)
- Experience with Salesforce (desirable)
- The successful candidate will be required to undergo a Qantas background check.
