- This role is Permanent Full-time, 76hrs/fortnight.
- This role is based on-site at IKEA Distribution Centre, Marsden Park NSW.
- You must have the availability to work 6:00AM to 2:00PM or 2:00PM to 10:00PM, on weekdays and alternating weekend shifts (both Saturday and Sunday).
- As part of the recruitment process this role requires a pre-employment check for the final candidate including a National Police Check.
- Execute Inbound and Outbound planning of customer orders, containers into and out of the Distribution Centre & Customer Distribution Centre, ensuring completion in good time and enabling the most efficient operations possible.
- Manage daily internal flows and resources promptly and ensure operational goals are met using the Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), to control and monitor flows, and production activity.
- Manage systematically the commencement and finalisation of inbound and outbound shipments/trips.
- Maintain compliance with chain of responsibility procedures.
- Continuously follow-up, analyse and takes action to improve article setup within Warehouse Management Systems.
- Ensure optimum picking locations are setup for required articles and meet Standard Operating Procedures compliance.
- Analyse range and review setup in order to increase picking efficiencies and reduce damages.
- Ensure pallet classifications align with storing strategy to secure maximum flexibility/adaptability for the storage process.
- Report performance results and statistics weekly and monthly, including commentaries and other admin tasks.
- Passionate about working in supply chain and understand how process execution links to providing a seamless experience for all including our customers.
- Passionate about data analysis and problem-solving, with a strong working knowledge of Excel and Power BI is required.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, you are able to build relationships with a variety of stakeholders, both internally and externally, as well share knowledge and influence others.
- Confident in working with large volumes of data, exceptional attention to detail and understand the importance of following process and meeting deadlines.
- Possess high organisational skills, the ability to work in a structured way and complete the work according to procedures and to quality standards in timely manner.
- Previous experience working with Warehouse Management Systems in inventory management and supply planning within a high stock keeping unit environment is preferred.
