The Role

This is a full time position based in Melbourne's CBD, North and North East suburbs. The field based role is an opportunity to develop as a salesperson in a fast growing, innovative and professional organisation. You will be exposed to cutting edge systems and will have the opportunity to contribute ideas to the improvement of our sales process and future growth. You will be required to take ownership of your territory initially focussing on both the grocery and independent route channel and be part of our lively and inclusive company culture.

Responsibilities

  • Provide existing customers with excellent sales service;
  • Increase the sales volume through existing customers and recruit new business by correct execution of the company sales directives; and
  • Improve distribution and execute promotions through national and key accounts.

The Right Candidate will have:

  • Prior Sales Representative experience, preferably FMCG;
  • Well presented, articulate communicator, a relationship builder with a passion for health and lifestyle brands and a keen outlook on changing the norm;
  • Must be comfortable with the use of new technology and have an eye for detail;
  • Good knowledge of Melbourne's CBD, North & North East areas;
  • Strong desire to learn, be challenged and excel in a busy and dynamic sales environment;
  • Ability to lend their skills across Corporate and Direct channels successfully;
  • Team player 100% of the time;
  • Basic trade maths and business acumen desirable; and
  • Strong work ethic.
